Jobo - a tropical cyclone formed originaly over the area of south-western Indian Ocean, is moving west-northwest towards the eastern coast of Tanzania.
When it reach the coast and then moves inland it can cause local flash flooding potentialy affecting refugee/IDP camp areas located in the north-western Tanzania.
Processing a satellite imageries can give quick results such as effects of flash flooding which might be an important and helpful information for local authorities and crisis management teams. The news image presents processed Sentinel-1 imagery with potentially foooded areas (red rectangle on the bottom).
